Natural Goat Milk Herbal Flea and Tick Shampoo Bar
There is nothing better to remove and repel fleas than an herbal shampoo bar! Made with natural therapeutic essential oils that will leave your dog with a layer of repellant as well as kill the fleas already on your dog!
This is one of my favorite blends for a dog shampoo bar! I made it with raw goat milk, Shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil to nourish your dogs coat. The essential oils I’ve chosen are my always go to for all 8 of my dogs.
Geranium - is not only an excellent flea repellant it will heal any skin irritations and great to combat yeasty paws.
Cedar Wood - is well known for a flea repellent but it too has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, studies and been done on humans using cedar wood for extreme acne with excellent result!
Lavender - of course everyone knows how calming lavender can be, not only does it have a calming effect on the nervous system it will calm any itching left from flea bites! It also is well now for its anti-microbial properties and will leave your dogs skin clean and clear of pathogens that can cause allergies.
Peppermint - not only is it cooling and refreshing to your dogs skin, it will put a layer of repellant on your dogs fur.
Rosemary - is another great flea repellent and chucked full of other great benefits for your dogs skin.
Lemongrass - is at the top of the repellant list, I find my dogs rolling in my lemongrass, they instinctively know what to do lol. Lemongrass has been studied extensively and found to remove free radicals and detox the skin.
I’ve added spirulina and alkanet root powders for color but they offer extra health benefits for your pups skin too ;)
This bar soap will kill and repel both fleas and ticks but ticks have a thicker outer shell and must be soaked in the soap longer than fleas to die. It’s best to remove all ticks with tweezers before the bath!
These bars are approximately 3 oz each and are great for smaller shorter haired dogs, I have used my 3 oz bar on my 60 lb boxer and my 50 lb blue heeler with plenty left for another bath. If you need a larger bar just message me. ;)
This bar is best for dogs horses and humans, not made for cats. :)
